Beautiful Sight of Music
Of course my favorite model is my beautiful daughter - this time with her gorgeous new violin. She and I went over today after a Sunday afternoon nap and used basically the same setup that I had earlier for the mother’s day portraits. Played with the flash a bit and this is what we came away with. Totally awesome if you ask me! Enjoy a few of the best!

Mother's Day Portraits after Church
Traditionally for a few years now I have tried to take some portraits after the worship service on Mother’s Day. Last night I remembered at about 11pm that I hadn’t even THOUGHT of how I was going to do it. But a little thinking set me up in my mind for a simple setup in the corner staircase up to the balcony with my flash unit and a white sheet. It turned out to be not exactly perfect, but I did get a few nice shots... The further complication is that everyone wants the shot at the same time and so we really don’t get too many chances to get it right. But anyway... enough excuses! Enjoy!
The first one I took was our beautiful grand lady of the congregation, Ramona Brown!
The Railroad Tressle
Last Sunday afternoon was glorious and I needed a poster pic of me and my three girls for the big upcoming family concert we are doing together next month. So we all put on some subdued colored clothes to match the still brown hues of winter (Spring is COMING, but not quite “here” yet!)... And we headed down to the railroad trestle just a few blocks away. I hadn’t taken any shots here before, but I sure WILL again! It was awesome!
